a woman shot at 69th avenue about an hour ago. she was in her car at the time there were dozens of shops fired. you can see these markers where shell casings landed. she's been rushed to the hospital. and a crew is on the scene. we'll have breaking details just as soon as they become available. >> with the city of oakland now bringing in a lawman to help fight crime like that we have a look at track record. what about what's happening in san francisco during that same time period?

vic lee has the story. >> well, bill bratton believes stricter law enforcement means safer communities but there are other experts believe it's not how many people you arrest, but how many you prevent from being arrested. now the statistics prove those two policies were just as successful in 1990s. braiton got all of the credite when police commissioner the city beefed up force with 7,000 new officers. his basic philosophy, identity hot spots and flood them with police. during his tenure stop and frisk incidents skyrocketed. crime plummeted. this is what he sned a phone interview last week.

sunset mainly clear skies right now. this is described as sky conditions we've had today. clouds around but this is a mostly clear evening. temperatures into low 50s for the most part and down to 49 degrees in nappa. so that will be a cooler location for sure, cold in spots. warming trend and this mild pattern, dry pattern will be with us throughout the weekend. overnight look for lows down to about 34 in napa and fairfield. up north in santa rosa, and upper 30s to 40s around bay shore line here, low 40s on the coast. so chilly in spots. high pressure dominant feature, nice cool dry, flow of air following a jet stream which is bringing us high clouds but it's high pressure that will

seeing 49ers getting into the super bowl many loyal fans are exkbreernsing the low of not being able to get tickets. 49ers held a lottery for season ticket holders for an opportunity to buy tickets but beyond that, the team isn't saying must have. jeff smj displayed the autograph he got from jim harbaugh. he's been a season ticket holder since 1980 but never able to buy tickets for super bowl. >> i don't think they have enough for season ticket holders. >> florence has been a season ticket holder. >> anybody i know that was season ticket holders has not gotten ticket autos two say they know 18 different groups of season ticket holders none won for super bowl tickets.

>> in fact a pole this, one conducted by 7 on your side found none won the lottery either those that did win have the opportunity to pick up tickets on friday. we asked 49ers how many tickets were made available to fans. citing team policy they declined to disclose the information of the we asked what odds were the winning. the team said everyone had an equal chance but declined to disclose odds. >> though us how many tickets are vaichblt maybe how the process works? >> just over 25% of the tickets went to the league. another 17.5% or 12,000 tickets went to 49ers and an amount went to baltimore ravens.
